Marque and model history: One of the oldest French automobile manufacturers, Mors was the brainchild of Emile Mors, who laid strong emphasis to motorsport being the key to improving the product. Mors cars were racing as early as 1897, and soon won prestigious events across France and Europe.

After going through troubled times, Andre Citroen stepped in as manager in 1908, reviving its fortunes. The brand persevered till 1925 before shutting down to make way for Citroen branded cars.

Provenance: This rare 1914 Mors Tourer is the only representative of the marque in India. Before acquisition, the Mors regularly participated in prestigious events in Calcutta in the 1960s and 70s.
